Highlights for Spring semester 2023:
- CCFT Spring 2023 meeting dates – Flex week meetings Wed. & Thurs. January 25-26. Register at MyCabrilloPD. Guest speaker for Wednesdays lunch meeting: Carlos Palacios – SC County Chief Administrative Officer and first Latino leader in the County’s 168-year history. Carlos will give an overview of the county’s budget, emergency operations from the recent storms and COVID-19.

- Negotiations continue with focus on – Associate faculty health care, DC Matrix, benefits, compensation, State draft budget, working conditions, and Spring MOU.
- Continued support for faculty applying for unemployment benefits – Contingent World .com
- Council Reps. for divisions – various seats open (listed below).
- Elections this spring – Treasurer, Organizing Chair, Historian. Appointed positions – Communications Director, Associate Faculty Chair.
- CFT Convention, March 17-19th, must be a CCFT member to attend. Delegate elections coming soon.
- CCFT has member representatives on various governance committees, some of which offer pay to associate faculty as part of the ancillary committee activity, if a seat is available. Please inquire.
