CZU Lightning Complex Fire Resources For CCFT Members

CCFT Members and Library Faculty Volunteer at the Cabrillo College Evacuation Center
  • CCFT has set up an emergency relief fund through the Cabrillo Foundation.  Immediate Donations are Needed – CCFT Disaster Relief Fund. Anyone can donate to CCFT Disaster Relief Fund. Use the “other” field or in “Special Notes” field – Write “CCFT Disaster Relief Fund.” Any CCFT member impacted by the current CZU Complex Fire is eligible to apply for a donation.  For more information please contact Executive Director Daniel Dodge.
  • If you have lost your home, it is completely uninhabitable, or you need assistance, please email avargas@cft.org. CFT can make a small direct donation of $250 to you. For this assistance, please send your CCFT team the following information: your first and last name, temporary address, and cell phone number. CFT will process that information and send a check.
  • For those who live near evacuation zones, there is an app called CodeRED Mobile Alert. You can download it like any other app, and it will ask you to put in different areas for which you will receive alerts.
  • Here is information from Cal Fire on how to prepare for an evacuation. During such crises, it is more important than ever that we support one another to get through the difficult times.
