Appendix AA.3

• In 2007-08, Anthropology has 2.5 teaching units and Sociology hasd 2.7 teaching units in the SPECS cluster of 13.5 teaching units.
• Beginning in 2008-09, Anthropology and Sociology will be taken out of the SPECS cluster and combined with Archaeology to form the new “Cultural Studies” program.
• The spring 2008 Program Chair Compensation Matrix, recalculated in accordance with Appendix AA.3 results in the following revisions for 2008-09 only:
  • Add 5.2 teaching units to the new cluster, Cultural Studies
  • Subtract 5.2 teaching units from the SPECS cluster.
  • In subsequent years, the SPECS and cultural studies clusters will be calculated according to the Program Chair Matrix criteria to determine annual teaching units.
