- Teach the Budget: inform your students about Prop 30 (and 38)
- Refer your students to resources like the CA state elections webpage on propositions:

- Remind students of voting
deadlines - Wear a Yes on 30 button in class
- Put up Yes on 30 signs in your
office
DON'T
- Tell students how they should vote on any proposition
- Cancel class on election day to
facilitate easier voting - Decorate your classroom in Prop 30 messaging
- Assume that all of your students are eligible to vote
- Give extra credit to students who
vote - Penalize students who don’t vote
- Present your opinions as official college policy
- Disparage Prop 38 in comparison with Prop 30 (rather, educate on the differences)
