From the Editor: Communications Survey Results

Thank you very much to the one hundred or so instructors who answered our communications survey. There was a fair amount of positive feedback on recent innovations, as well as some very telling responses both quantitative and qualitative. While 80% of respondents said they prefer to read the newsletter online, a substantial 20% said they'd prefer to read it on paper and about half reported they'd pick it up when in the mailroom or division office. While we would like to see everyone reading the Faculty Voice more often, it's clear that direct emails from CCFT officers and your Council reps. remain your primary mode of receiving union news, and we'll keep those emails coming. In the meantime, we're working on a plan to reach as many members as possible with the newsletter. Here is the statistical breakdown on all the survey's quantitative questions, below.
