- CCFT and the District agree that Merritt Tucker is eligible for a sabbatical leave for 2009-2010 under Article 9.1. in the collective bargaining agreement. The average of her 75% contracts, plus additional temporary contract assignments she held over and above her primary assignment for the six (6) years prior to her sabbatical, equals 81%.
- It is also agreed that these provisions above apply only to Merritt Tucker and is neither binding nor precedent setting for any other academic employee at Cabrillo College.
- Employment Chronology:
- 2008/09 – 75% assignment +10% (categorical) for whole year
- 2007/08 – 75% assignment +10% (categorical) for whole year
- 2006/07 – 75% assignment +10% (categorical) for whole year
- 2005/06 – 75% assignment +10% (categorical) for SP06 only
- 2004/05 – 75% assignment
- 2003/04 – 75% assignment
